Hello, my name is

Karol Orski

this way ↓

I consider myself a very creative person, who's life spins around hobbies and passions.  Those are mainly music, painting, furniture/woodworking, design and cooking, the majority of which have been self-taught. Once I decide I would like to learn something, I am incredibly focused on the task in hand and thanks to my photographic memory I learn things in no time.

I have a keen creative eye and believe that first impressions, when it comes to visual design, are extremely important. Over the years, I have created large canvas acrylic pieces, commercial and signature furniture pieces, as well as graphic logos, designs and many other things.

Whilst working within the furniture industry I developed a passion for woodworking and interior design. I rented a space in my apartment building and created my workshop/creative studio to start building on my passion. I begun to design my own furniture, from standard to signature pieces, with the goal to always be minimalistic and unconventional.

In 2020, I opened my own online shop TIMBR for my self-made pieces and I used my own flat as a showroom to display my creative ideas and to shoot product photography for my shop.

In 2024, I've started Orski Creative Solutions, where I bring people's dreams into reality. Building things such as fitted wardrobes, media walls and cupboards, as well a painting, decorating and creating bespoke solutions for homes.

My artistic journey started with an interest in Graffiti art as a teenager. Summer, good music, walls and spray cans were my creative escape from the grey backdrop of reality in my small home town.

Later, graffiti art transformed into acrylic paintings on canvas, which I created in my home studio. Later, my woodworking skills allowed me to build my own canvases so that I could create bespoke pieces.
I enjoy
creating large abstract paintings, some of which are below.

I was constantly taking pictures whilst growing up and would always search for the best or most obscure angles. I got my first camera on my 18th birthday and within no time I was in my basement building a studio, where I would then experiment with the light and the camera.

I also took all of the product photography for my online furniture shop and you can see some of my favourite photographs down below.

Graphic design is no stranger to me either. I used to play around with visual design when I was younger and became passionate about visual first impressions from here. Over the years, I have created covers for my songs and playlists, posters for club nights in my home town and designed logos and stickers for local businesses.
I helped many friends, designing business cards, flyers, T-Shirts or even menus for their "babies".

ME

ABOUT

"CREATIVE MINIMALIST"

Creativity is what drives me and gives me purpose. My brain is constantly coming up with ideas to build/design things or to find efficient solutions to problems. For me, few things are ever in their finished form because there is always potential for a better or more efficient result or solution. I am always trying to think outside the box, with efficiency and minimalism at the core. Learning by doing is definitely my thing and I love to give all the ideas that come to me, a go.

No idea is a bad idea, some just need perfecting.
